Car Pool Program

Parking Administrative Services is pleased to announce an addition to the University’s Car Pool program. For those faculty and staff members who reside outside of Alachua County, car pools will only require two participants, as opposed to three participants for local resident car pools.

Operation and Control of University Owned Vehicles

University policy requires that departments who manage and operate state owned motor vehicles for official business purposes, must maintain a log, the University of Florida Vehicle Use Record, for each vehicle. Logs are required for all university owned motor vehicles, except certain service vehicles, farm equipment and other non-licensed equipment. The contract is for next day delivery directly to the departments for all commonly stocked items and within 3-5 days for special orders. In cooperation with Academic Affairs, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) announces the extension of the Health Assessment Management System (HAMS) for academic new hires beginning with Fall 1997 appointments. In 1994, EH&S introduced the HAMS as an on-line system that assisted departments with health assessment decisions.
