invited to submit nominations for the UF Teacher/Scholar of the Year Award for
2019-2020. Originating in 1960, this is the University of Florida’s most
prestigious and oldest faculty award.
It offers an
honorarium of $6,000 in addition to other appropriate recognition, such as the
automatic induction to UF’s Academy of Distinguished Teaching Scholars
(ADTS).

Faculty who plan to be absent from their assigned campus duties must do so with the knowledge and concurrence of their Chair/Director. “Assigned campus duties” includes assigned classroom instruction, office hours, and other service activities as assigned. program for University of Florida faculty and staff, which President Fuchs announced
earlier this summer.
This year, the University will implement a 1 percent
across-the-board recurring increase for all eligible employees and has created an
