Mandatory Compliance Training Beginning in August

The University of Florida will launch a new university-wide compliance training course this August. The online training is mandatory for all University of Florida employees, as required by Florida Board of Governors’ Regulation 4.003.

Timeliness of Travel, Entertainment and Employee Reimbursements

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Publication 463 provides requirements that must be met for employee reimbursements to be considered non-taxable. The University of Florida must comply with these requirements to ensure the tax-exempt status of the University’s employee reimbursement plan is not jeopardized.

Summer 2018 Commencement Information

Ceremonies: This summer, the university-wide commencement ceremonies will be held in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

There will be two university-wide commencement ceremonies coordinated by the Provost’s Office — a Doctoral Degree Ceremony (Friday, August 10th at 4:00pm) and a Master’s/Specialist’s/Bachelor’s Degrees Ceremony (Saturday, August 11th at 10:00am).
