Proposed 2016-2017 Fringe Benefit Pool Rates

The University has calculated the new proposed pooled fringe rates for fiscal year 2016-17 and has submitted them to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Although we do not expect any objections, the proposed rates are subject to DHHS approval and should be used with that understanding in your planning for fiscal year 2016-17. The rates, when approved, will be effective July 1, 2016.

2015-2016 Fiscal Year End Closing

It is that time of year again to prepare for the annual closing of the fiscal year. The 2015-2016 fiscal year ends on June 30, 2016. The scheduled date for closing the General Ledger for the 2016 fiscal year is Wednesday, July 13, 2016.

Please note the early deadline of May 5, 2016 for requisitions on appropriated funds for orders above $75,000 that require competitive bidding.
