The UF Office of Research solicits preliminary proposals for the State of Florida Centers of Excellence competition. Preliminary proposals will be reviewed by faculty committees. Under Florida statute 1009.21, full-time students from Latin America and the Caribbean (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) who receive scholarships from the federal or state government qualify for in-state tuition.
