Online Anti-Plagiarism Service Now Available to UF

The University of Florida has licensed Turnitin.com, a leading plagiarism prevention service, for use by University of Florida faculty and students. I have announced the appointment of Dr. Michael Rollo, associate vice president for student affairs at the University of Florida, as interim vice president for student affairs. He assumes the position previously held by Dr. James Scott, who passed away Feb. 16.

The time has arrived to offer a second TEAMS enrollment period. USPS employees interested in transitioning to TEAMS must submit an enrollment form to the Division of Human Resources by March 31st for an effective date of April 11th. Other enrollment opportunities will be provided in June (for a July 18th effective date), September (for an October 10th effective date), and December (for a January 16, 2004 effective date).

The Provost’s Office is pleased to announce the fourth year of the Provost Faculty Fellowship Program. The program provides an internship experience for faculty members interested in gaining some hands-on experience in university administration. The Provost Fellows work on special projects with the Provost, Vice Provost, or Associate Provosts and also participate in various activities of the office during the semester.
