Distance Learning Fees / Dates and Deadlines

Applications to establish, or make changes to Distance Learning Fees for the summer and fall 2013 terms are now being accepted through PeopleSoft.  All departmental applications should be submitted no later than Friday, January 25, 2013, and Dean’s approval is required by Friday, February 1, 2013.  All existing fees should be reviewed to determine if you are charging the appropriate fee to cover the resources needed.

Reminder to Power Off Equipment

Please help the University in its mission to conserve resources by turning off equipment, lights, computers, and other devices that require power before departing for the holiday break.

Temperature setbacks in most office and classroom areas are being allowed, but will not affect current schedules for research facilities, file server rooms, or areas that will have personnel working during the winter break.

The schedule setback dates are Saturday, December 22 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

2013 Technology Fee — Available Project Funds

The Technology Fee collected from students each year funds IT-based projects proposed by students, faculty, and staff. The submission deadline for 2013 “Tech Fee” concept papers is February 15, 2013. Last year the Tech Fee funded three projects, including which can be viewed on the website.

days, and students are encouraged to use these days for study
