The University of Florida has been issued new F&A (indirect) rates effective immediately. New rates are listed at http://research.ufl.edu/faculty-and-staff/proposal-development-submission/budgeting-information/fa-rates-idc.html. The On-campus Research rate increases from 50% to 52.5%. Melissa is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and earned her master’s in Family, Youth and Community Sciences from the University of Florida and her bachelor’s in Communications and Theatre Arts from Mercer University. I am pleased to announce that we have received final approval from the federal Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for our new Indirect Cost rates. These new rates have been negotiated with the DHHS to apply to our sponsored programs. The rates have been negotiated through fiscal year ending June 30, 2019. All projects with beginning dates on or after July 1, 2015 will be subject to the new rates.
