The amendments to UF Regulations 3.0372 and 3.0375 were approved by the Board of Trustees on June 6, 2014 and the Board of Governors on July 9, 2014. The regulation amendments in their final form are now effective and have been published on the Regulations’ website at http://regulations.ufl.edu.

Applications to establish, edit, or continue existing Distance Learning Fees for the Spring 2015 term are now being accepted through PeopleSoft. All departmental applications should be submitted no later than Friday, August 29th, 2014 and Dean’s approval is required by Friday, September 5th.
Tagging of sections with DL fees will be available beginning Friday, September 12th.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program is intended to enhance faculty collaboration that stimulates scholarly initiatives between SEC universities.
This initiative gives faculty from one SEC university the opportunity to travel to another SEC campus to: exchange ideas; develop grant proposals; conduct research; consult with faculty and/or students; offer lectures or symposia; or engage in whatever academic activities are agreeable to the visitor and host unit.

All non-endowed gift monies and endowment spending transfers will be automatically transferred to campus and reside in the appropriate Fund, Department ID and Source of Funds in MyUFL (PeopleSoft).

President Machen recently announced a salary increase plan for University of Florida faculty and staff (TEAMS and USPS) for 2014-15. Under this program, eligible faculty will participate in a 3.5 percent merit pool and eligible staff will participate in a 2.5 percent merit pool.
