It is that time of year again to prepare for the annual closing of the fiscal year. The 2009-2010 fiscal year ends on June 30, 2010. The scheduled date for closing the General Ledger for the 2010 fiscal year is Friday, July 16, 2010.

Faculty members being considered for tenure, permanent status, and/or promotion in the academic year 2010-2011 must receive a copy of this memorandum along with the University’s “Guidelines and Information Regarding the Tenure, Permanent Status and Promotion Process for 2010-11” (found at http://www.aa.ufl.edu/tenure/). The Board of the University Women’s Club has approved four (4) scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to be awarded to graduate students this year. The student must, at least, be completing the first year of graduate study and must be a U.S. citizen and permanent resident.
