The University of Florida plans to host a two-day national conference on the role of universities in creating a more sustainable future. The conference will coincide with the fourth annual National Campus Sustainability Day on October 25, 2006.
The conference will address the University of Florida’s efforts in sustainability research, education, and operations, in the context of other state and national initiatives. Faculty and departments are asked to submit their Summer/Fall term textbook adoptions at http://www.textadoption.ufl.edu by April 3rd, 2006. This will provide students their best opportunities to sell books back at higher prices. The faculty have requested that we open the site earlier than in the past so the web site opens February 20th for summer classes and February 27th for fall classes.
