On January 13, 2003, I sent you a memorandum ( http://www.admin.ufl.edu/DDD/default.asp?doc=8.7.1350.4 ) that graduate assistants who received pay increases for the spring semester were processed automatically in the personnel/payroll system for the payday of January 24, 2003. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security recently raised the national threat level to High “Orange.” Orange is declared when there is a potential high risk of terrorism. FBI Chief Robert Mueller, testifying before a U.S. Senate committee on Tuesday, stated that Al Qaeda might be looking at colleges and other poorly defended locations as possible targets for terrorism attacks. There is no specific information to suggest any individual or group has targeted the University of Florida.
The University of Florida has […]

After extensive testing, Finance and Accounting is pleased to announce the university-wide implementation of the new Automated Payroll Cost Transfer System (System). Please take time to nominate your colleagues (and yourself), using the nomination form posted on the Faculty Senate website: http://www.senate.ufl.edu/senatenomination.html

In addition, a workshop on the subject will be held to discuss the visa and tax regulations that can result in significant delays in payments and to answer specific questions on ways to […]
